We collect only the data needed to deliver our service:

• Account information — name, email address, and profile picture when you sign in with Google.
• Profile preferences — location (city/region), palate bio, and flavour preferences you provide voluntarily.
• Usage data — drink suggestions, saved items, bookmarks, and inventory entries you create within the app.
• Images — photos of meals or drink menus you upload are sent to Google Gemini for analysis and are not stored on our servers beyond the duration of the request.
• Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, request timestamps) retained for up to 30 days for security purposes.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate you and maintain your session.
• To personalise AI-generated drink recommendations.
• To store and retrieve your saved items, bookmarks, and inventory.
• To improve the quality and accuracy of our service.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

Quenchr relies on the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google OAuth & Google Gemini — authentication and AI inference. See the Google Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare — hosting, edge delivery, and the D1 database that stores your account and preference data. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

Your account and preference data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 8). Images processed through our AI features are not persisted after the request completes.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

We use an HTTP-only session cookie solely to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Local storage may be used to cache your suggestions and saved items for offline availability.

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
